Naomi and Anthony Cooper aren't liars. There were no survivors from the Oceanic Flight 815. HOWEVER, they are not in purgatory nor are they in hell. How did they end up on the island though, if you recall none of the survivors can recall the crash! They all woke up on the island. HOW CONVENIENT!
There is only one thing that can explain this.
JACK in the box!
Ben's tumor was in a subconcious state that called Jack to the island.
'There it shall be.'
This is why Jack was not on the beach and in the jungle, however as a horrible side-effect the entire plane and passengers were brought to the island too. There is more to this story, I will reveal this soon. For now I will leave you with this clue....
